Membership – Worldwide (except for North and Central America)
Membership is annual, renewable each year on 21st March (for Renewals see below).
New members may join at any time during the year and will be entitled to all the benefits for that year, which are as follows:
- A free copy of the year's Journals (published twice annually).
- Special discount rates at Symposia and on Society publications.
- Use of the Society Library, with access to manuscripts and books. (Visits to the library by appointment).
- Special offers for new members.
There are three categories of membership - Members, Fellows, and Student members (in full time education). In addition to the benefits of membership, Fellows are entitled to elect one of their number to serve on the Society Committee each year. Life fellowship is available upon application.

Special Offer for 2012
First time members and fellows - If you join for the first time during 2012 we are pleased to offer you free copies of the Society's selection of seven back-issues of the Journal. If you would like to take up this offer, please indicate when sending your subscription, and add the following postage:
£5.50 within the U.K, and £9.50 for overseas. (All books going to Europe are sent airmail, and to any other destination by surface mail, unless airmail is requested. Please ask the secretary for a quotation).

Renewing your membership for 2012
We will send you a renewal notice in early March. If you would like to renew your membership and pay online, please use the UK Membership Renewal Form.
